Working Principle

OIL520 Automatic Oil Content Analyzer injects quantitative n-hexane into the water sample, and extracts oil in the water by rotating stirring. The liquid is dehydrated and adsorbed by magnesium silicate to remove polar substances such as animal and vegetable oils, and then the absorbance is measured at a wavelength of 225nm. The content of petroleum and the absorbance value conform to the Lambert-Beer law. It is widely used in the determination of petroleum in surface water, groundwater and seawater.

Preprocessing Unit
Infinite injection rotary device, which can store 10 samples to be tested at the same time, supports adding water samples in the middle, the device automatically reads the volume of water samples, automatically adds quantitative extraction solvent, and adopts rotary stirring extraction technology to complete water sample extraction and extraction liquid separation , the equipment automatically absorbs magnesium silicate in the extract, and the adsorbed extract is sent to the detection unit for detection and analysis. After the analysis, the equipment automatically completes waste liquid discharge and pipeline cleaning.

Detection Unit
This unit automatically detects the samples from the preprocessing unit and transmits the detection data to the working platform

Data Analysis Unit
The unit is composed of a computer and special software, which is used to process the data from the detection unit, analyze and obtain the test results according to the given experimental conditions, and output the test results in the form of screen display and report printout.

Features

Automatic discharge of used magnesium silicate after each use and automatic cleaning, reducing the risk of cross-contamination;

7) Magnesium silicate quantitative device: In order to prevent magnesium silicate from affecting the discharge due to agglomeration, a magnesium silicate quantitative device is specially designed, which can ensure that the magnesium silicate used each time can reach the standard dosage;

8) Automatic cleaning and waste discharge: after the test, the equipment automatically discharges waste liquid and cleans the pipeline by means of air blowing and self-cleaning, and there is no residue in the pipeline. At the same time, the used stirring rod is automatically cleaned, which does not affect the test of the next sample;

9) Automatic separation of waste liquid: After the extraction liquid is extracted into the separation tube for separation, the liquid to be tested is sent to the detection unit, and the remaining waste liquid is completely separated from the extraction agent and water by the separation device and then discharged to the special waste liquid bucket respectively. Avoid staff contact with toxic and harmful gases and liquids;

10) Exhaust gas collection system: independent waste discharge channel, the equipment can completely discharge harmful gas to the outside without placing it in a fume hood, avoiding the harm of toxic gas to experimenters
